Drill Plods- Custom Date Filter

When viewing plods in CorePlan, would it be possible to type/enter a date instead of clicking through the months and year under the custom option? This would be useful when reviewing historical/dummy plods as a lot of these are over 10 years old and if you need to review a plod it would be quicker to enter the date.
